Memory and forgetting are inseparable and inherent concepts of the human being. The forgotten places have been erected as the silent guardians of the traces of time, of memories, redoubts of an invisible memory and forever doomed to permanent oblivion. A forgetfulness of which they have been able to take revenge, returning to recover the space that was taken from them by the hand of the human being, to transform and give rise to new spatial and, of course, sound forms.
This sound essay presents an inner and reflective journey, it is a continuous artistic transformation through the sound personality of many of these forgotten places and spaces, located in different parts of the Principality of Asturias and that I had the opportunity to collect soundly for their application. in the sound design of different cinematographic and audiovisual projects.
The present, the transformation and the sound metamorphosis of forgotten places are the pillars on which this experimental work is based, which proposes to the listener, in two different parts, to feel the sound of the present and the sound transformation of oblivion.
